You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms. Do not use SoundGum if you are under 18.
2. Your responsibilities
Give truthful, current information; use the service for genuine activities; respect consent and boundaries; and make your own safe decision about whether, where, and with whom to meet.
3. Prohibited behaviour
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate, coercion, or violence.
- Sexual exploitation or any conduct involving minors.
- Fraud, impersonation, scams, spam, or commercial solicitation.
- Illegal activities, weapons, drugs, or dangerous invitations.
- Collecting, publishing, or misusing another person’s private information.
- Circumventing safety controls, rate limits, blocks, or access restrictions.
4. Your content
You remain responsible for what you submit. You give SoundGum the limited permission needed to host, display, moderate, and process that content to operate and protect the service.
5. Moderation and access
We may remove content, limit visibility, preserve safety evidence, block interactions, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for safety, rule enforcement, legal compliance, or service integrity. Reports are reviewed according to context and available evidence.
6. Real-world meetings
SoundGum is a coordination tool, not a party to a meetup. We do not guarantee identity, attendance, compatibility, behaviour, location, or safety. Follow the Safety Guide and leave any situation that feels wrong.
7. Availability and liability
The service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, liability is limited to the extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales.
